Women who suffer from depression while pregnant are faced with a tough choice: continue taking their medications, which may be hazardous for the baby, or stop taking the drugs, which comes with risks as well. In fact, both depression and use of antidepressants during pregnancy have been linked with adverse effects in newborns.
