Users report that diabetes management is a breeze with Bant.  To use the app, simply enter your readings in a single swipe. From there, store your data in your Microsoft HealthVault account and share the experience via Twitter.  You’ll receive double the benefits – both the data and the support.

Unlike most diabetes apps, Diabetes Buddy does more than just tracking.  With this unique app, users can manage their diabetes by tracking the factors that influence blood sugar levels.  Apart from providing you with useful information, it will help you plan ahead and better share data with your doctor.

4. Diabetic Meal Planner Lite

This meal planner calculates the overall glycemic index (GI) and glycemic load (GL) for individual meals throughout the entire day to help you build a healthy diet. It provides carbohydrate, calories, protein, fat analysis, and future meal planning for a number of items. The free version provides 38 food items in the database: two per food group, but with a small fee you can access the full Meal Planner experience.
