Over the past six months you’ve given us your feedback, taken our surveys and emailed us your product requests, and today we’re proud to announce that we’ve transformed many of your suggestions into new features and functionality. Thanks to your input, CakeHealth Version 2.0 is here to help you better manage those medical bills!
Among the improvements we’ve rolled out are the following:
Year-by-year health spending comparison – One of the most common requests we received this year is the ability to compare current spending to previous years in order to better understand where your money is going. So now you can! In the Analysis section of the Dashboard you’ll be able to go back as far as your claims allow and get a clear picture of what you paid versus what your insurance covered.
Claim status – We’ve all had that folder/drawer/pile of medical bills we were desperately trying to organize and stay on top of. Now there’s a better way. With our new claim status feature, you won’t have to rack your brain to figure out what you need to do with your bills. By marking them as either “paid” or “unpaid,” you will more effectively manage your health spending.
Deeper insights into claims – Looking at your claims and not getting the information you need? Check out our new detailed claims view, revised to ensure that all the data you’re searching for is there in plain English.To get more details on a specific claim, simply click on the claim in the Claim History tab.
Filtering – Now you can easily filter your claims by type, status or any search term. Say you want to know how much you’ve been spending on physical therapy without sorting through multiple claims, simply search for the terms “physical therapy” to pull up only those past claims. Piece of cake.
